Darlene Jane Schrader, widow of a wonderful husband, Harley, proud to have been the eleventh of thirteen children to Fred and Emelia (Steffenson) Clemmenson was born in Audubon, IA on August 5, 1925. She passed away on June 1, 2018 in Edmond, OK at the age of 92. She graduated from Audubon High School in Audubon, Iowa where she was selected Homecoming Queen. At a young age, she worked on the farm, detasseling corn. She married Harley A. Schrader on September 6, 1946 in Longmont, CO. They lived in Omaha, NE and in 1965 moved to Lincoln, NE. Darlene worked as church secretary at St Paul United Methodist Church. for many years. She enjoyed played bridge, jig saw puzzles, and walking at the mall for many years.
Survivors Include: her children, Steve Schrader and wife Deborah, and Debbie Madison, her grandchildren, Kyle Schrader and wife Kelly, Emily Campbell and husband Robert, Abby Richardson and husband Andrew, and Brian Schrader, her great grandchildren, Lily, Jacob, Ruby, and Kristopher Schrader and Ellie and Chloe Campbell, her sister, Nadine and husband Jerry, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Emelia Clemmenson, her husband, Harley Schrader, and 11 brothers and sisters.
