Linda Carol (Gatlin) DeVaughan

Linda Carol DeVaughan, 81, of Binger, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026. She was born on November 24, 1944, the daughter of Lloyd and Dorothy (Huggins) Gatlin.

Linda grew up on a farm near Sickles, Oklahoma, where she learned the values of hard work, dedication, and community. She was especially proud to follow in her father’s footsteps by building a career as a Farm Bureau Insurance Agent, serving families with integrity and care. She took great pride in helping others protect what mattered most to them.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Dorothy Gatlin, and by her first husband, Woodrow Sitton.

Above all, Linda cherished her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Darwin DeVaughan of the home. She leaves behind her children: Dixie Didier and husband Grant; Woody Sitton and wife Karen; Dale DeVaughan; Todd DeVaughan; Steve DeVaughan; Paige Wilson; and Derek DeVaughan, along with their families.

Linda was a proud grandmother to Kaylin, Gatlin, Jarrett, Justin, Blythe, Chelsea, Ashley, Sydney, Jackson, Kaleb, Nathan, Emily, Isaac, Ian, Brody, Teagan, Jake, Dylan, Hailey, Dawson, Hayden, Dayton, Hudson, and Elle, and she was blessed with 18 great-grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy.

She is also survived by her sister, Janelle Jackson; sister-in-law, Darlene Wilson; brother-in-law, David Sitton; and sister-in-law, Imogene Sitton.

Linda will be remembered for her strong work ethic, her steady presence, and the love she poured into her family. Her legacy lives on in the generations she helped raise and the many lives she touched throughout her community.

Viewing will be from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm daily at Binger Turner Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at Sickles Cemetery on Sunday, March 1 at 2:00pm
