Arthur Driggers Obituary

Arthur Steven “Steve” Driggers, age 70, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Rural Wellness Hospital in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Steve was born on February 3, 1956, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Samuel Cole Driggers and Tommie Jean Howell Driggers. He lived a life defined by service, dedication, and a strong work ethic. Steve will be remembered for his easy grin and his playful sense of humor – always ready to brighten someone’s day with laughter. Steve was a graduate of Hinton High School and then devoted many years of his life serving his community in law enforcement. He began his career as a deputy at Caddo County Sheriff's Office in 1975 and went on to serve as an officer at Hinton Police Department, Waurika Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, and the Stephens County Sheriff's Office. He also served as Undersheriff during his time at Jefferson County. In the late 1970's, Steve and life-long friend Spencer Davis co-owned and operated the Hinton Ambulance Service. He later worked in sales and management in the automobile industry, spent many years at Schwan's, and was employed by Mustang Trucking Company. Most recently, Steve returned to the Caddo County Sheriff's Office, coming full circle to where he began so many years ago. Steve was a faithful member of Long View Church in Binger, Oklahoma.

Survivors include his children: Neely Setters and her husband, Thomas; Crystal Duke and her husband, Jason; Steven Driggers; Shannon Ewing and her husband Duell; and Skyler Driggers and Abby Swope. Grandchildren include: Lance Thompson, Seth Duke, Parker Henderson, Tabri Setters, Aaron Alexander, Jalynn Duke, Luxe Driggers, Porter Driggers, Wade Ewing, and Wyatt Ewing.
