Robert Creig Booze was born January 14, 1953 to Dwain and Carolyn (Stevens) Booze in Alva, OK. He passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 65. He attended grade school and junior high school in Anadarko, OK. While in Anadarko, he was active in Boy Scouts and had a paper route. In 1968 his family moved to Hinton and he graduated from Hinton High School in 1971. While in high school, he played football, worked as a lifeguard at Red Rock Canyon State Park for two summers, worked as a sacker at Red Bud grocery store, roofed houses and went to Boy's State his junior year. After high school, he attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business. After graduation, Creig's career led him to work in the Right-of-Way and Easements Department at Public Service of Oklahoma in Weatherford, OK; he also worked in Sales for Simon's Petroleum in Erick, OK; and he was a Property Damage Claims Adjuster for The Windsor Group, State Farm Insurance and Farmer's Insurance where he retired in the Spring of 2017. Creig was an avid sports fan and he loved to watch OU football, The LA Lakers and the Thunder. He was a classic rock music enthusiast. He had a big heart and was always there to lend a helping hand. He loved being around his family, especially his nieces and nephews, and he enjoyed hanging Christmas lights on his mother's house every December for the past 25 years. He could tell great stories and had a great sense of humor.
Survivors Include, mother, Carolyn Booze of Hinton, OK, siblings, Cathy Whitaker and husband Bob of Tulsa, OK, Jon Booze and wife Sharon of Hinton, OK, Deniece Ditzler and husband Eddy of Edmond, OK, and Michael Booze of Hinton, OK. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Shanda, Linda, Greg, Jerid, and Shaina, and great nieces and nephews, Ashton, Addison, Chace, Camron, Caitlyn, Madelyn and one more on the way.
Creig was preceded in death by his father, Robert Dwain Booze, and his grandparents, Ernest Booze and Velma Booze Powell, and Harold and Leona Stevens.
