Obituary

Carl Glenn East, Jr., was born November 12, 1954 in Clinton, OK to Daniel and Geneva (Cates) East. He passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at his home in Lookeba, OK at the age of 63. Carl attended Binger Schools and attended USAO College in Chickasha, OK. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Carl was an Entrepreneur owning and operating various different businesses including Carl's Bakery, Movies To Go, Kountry 4 Korners, Carl's Machine Shop, and Carl's Paint and Body. Carl worked as a welder and fabricator and taught welding to many different people through Caddo Kiowa Vo-Tech at Western Farmers in Anadarko. Carl also had a music store and gave music lessons. He and Scott Steverson had a band, and Carl enjoyed getting together with his brothers and sisters and playing and singing. He enjoyed fishing and camping at Ft. Cobb, watching TV, cooking and baking. Carl was united in marriage to Brenda Holman and to this union was born 6 children.

Survivors include his children, Daniel East and his wife Svitlana of Anadarko, Chandra Hardy and her husband Todd of Oklahoma City, Sarah Neese and her husband Michael of Chickasha, Zachary East and his wife Amy of Whidbey Island, WA, and Megan Owens of Anadarko; 17-grandchildren, Alexei and Brian East, Dylan Glidewell, Joshua and Lauren Scott, Tristan East, Jarah East, Walker Neese, Taylor Moffa, Morgan Neese, Emily, Alora, Brooke, and Kennedy East, Breylon, Celis, an La'Zane Owens; 8-great grandchildren; mother, Geneva Barthel of Lookeba; siblings, Loneta Levinson, Linda Casper, Janie Lierle, Leon East, Jimmie East, and Calvin East.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel East, one son, Joshua East, two grandchildren, Donovan and Deanna East; one brother, Andy East, and one sister, Virginia Green.
