Howard Hamilton Rose was born March 16, 1935, to James and Lena (Householder) Rose in Irondale, OH. He passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 in Clinton, OK at the age of 83. Howard married Wilda Fern Tillman-Peck on August 15, 1980 in Gainsville, TX. Howard worked as a police officer and later the Mayor of Amsterdam, OH. He owned and operated H and H Rose Lumber Company in Lisbon, OH, building superintendent at Berky/Modco in Hinton, OK, Building superintendent for Texian Inn, Senior superintendent for Marriott, building Marriot Courtyards, was self employed as a welder in 1991. Howard had his own real estate appraisal service until his retirement in 2008. He was a member of Sickles Community Church, Lookeba, OK
Survivors Include, wife, Wilda Rose of the home in El Reno, OK, children, Julie Rose Armour and husband Eric of Hinton, OK, Brent Peck and wife Lisa of Hinton, OK, Kent Peck and wife Velda of Purcell, OK, and Ronda Green and husband Harley of Weatherford, OK, 11 grandchildren, Kaisha Mathis, Joseph Peck, James McNutt, Amanda Brimage, Miranda Peck, Nicole Amzycki, Rondalyn Garrett, Harley Green, Jr., Clinton Green, Felicia Dillard and Jennifer Green, 25 great grandchildren, as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lena Rose, and 7 siblings, Jean McFerren, Edna McConnell, Becky Thomas, Marge Ferguson, Jim Rose, Harold Rose, and Lewis Rose.
