Charles John Fuller was born in Watertown, New York on March 28, 1948 to William and Irene (Wilder) Fuller. He passed away September 17, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 69. He grew up in Sandy Creek, NY and attended school there. His family moved to Yukon, OK during his high school years, and he graduated from Yukon High School in 1967. After high school he attended Oklahoma State University, where he earned a degree in Forestry in 1971. While attending OSU, his family moved to Florida and then back to New York. Charlie met Lea Denise Sanders while attending OSU and they married in 1972. Charlie and Denise made their first home in New York where he worked for Niagara Mohawk Power Company for three years before they moved back to Oklahoma. Also while in New York, Charlie and Denise welcomed their first daughter. In Oklahoma, Charlie, his father-in-law Carl Sanders, and his brother in law, Tom Sanders, created CTC Construction where they built houses, including the house Charlie and Denise made their home and raised their children. As a hobby, he enjoyed farming and helping his father in law cut wheat and raise cattle. Charlie was a maintenance worker and a bus driver at Geary Public Schools until retirement. Charlie and Denise were blessed with three wonderful daughters; Carrie Fuller Luckie, Anisea Fuller Rhodes, and Nicola Fuller Kreizenbeck. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sandy Creek, NY. Charlie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sports and then later in life he enjoyed playing poker in various towns, mastering Sudoku puzzles, and watching sports on TV. Charlie was very close to his poker buddies and enjoyed sharing life and telling wild stories with them. Charlie beamed with pride watching his grandchildren participate in various sports and activities and loved being surrounded by his family at home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Fuller, sister, Janie Currier, sister in law, Carla Burns, father in law, Carl Sanders, Aunts, Ruth Blair, Wilma Jean Gardner, and Uncle, Bill Little.
Survivors Include: his wife, Denise Fuller of Geary, OK, his Children, Carrie Fuller Luckie and husband Jim of Okeene, OK, Anisea Fuller Rhodes and husband Bryan of Alva, OK, and Nicola Fuller Krizenbeck and husband Rusty of Weatherford, OK, his grandchildren, Lauren, Reiley, and Jack Luckie, Kaden and Jace Rhodes, and Katie and Jake Kreizenbeck, his mother, Irene Fuller of Lacona, NY, mother in law, Mildred Sanders of Geary, OK, his siblings, Linda Waring of NY, Richard Fuller and wife Barbara of NY, Kathryn Buehler of NY, aunts and uncles, Herb and Pearl Little of Geary, OK, Fern Moore of Calumet, OK, Cathie Choate of Yukon, OK, Jack Little of Albuquerque, NM, brothers and sisters in law, Dr. Gary Burns of Geary, OK, Joe and Janice Glass of Mt View, OK, Al Currier of WI, and Tom and Melissa Sanders of Brunswick, GA, life long friend and cousin, Ronnie Wilder, many many poker buddies all over the state, as well as many other relatives and friends.
