Obituary

Wayne Diffie was born to Victor H. Diffie & Myrtle L Armstrong in Sallisaw, Oklahoma on September 2, 1933. Siblings 4 brothers and 1 sister. Wayne married Eller Bray of Quinton, Oklahoma on April 16th 1951 after losing his first wife to cancer. He remarried to Juanita Rodriguez of Robstown, Texas, after which, he and Juanita lived the remainder of their years with son Billy Wayne Diffie and wife Sylvia Diffie. He was a farmer his entire life, a large part of which was spent working for Jim Crain for 30 years out of Lookeba, Oklahoma and ventured out as a rancher to Hanna, Wyoming for 10 years. Wayne enjoyed riding horses in his younger years, and later in life, he enjoyed going to Spanish dances. Anyone who met Wayne could count on one thing for sure, and that was that you were going to laugh and have a good time. He was always the life of the party and he enjoyed spending time with extended family in Weslaco and Donna, Texas, especially his brother and sister in law, Rudy & Angie Perez.

Wayne was survived by his children, Peggy Birge of Rawllins, Wyoming, Helan & spouse Monty McKay of Edmond, Oklahoma, Billy & Sylvia Diffie of Livingston, Texas; 9 Grandchildren, Karon Weeburg, Leslie Cruz, Amanda Robertson, Rebecca Birge, Derek Dorsey, Christopher Wayne Diffie, and Bradley Diffie; 12 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren; 29 nieces and nephews, and other family members to numerous to name.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Myrtle Diffie, his wife, Eller Diffie, his second wife, Juanita Diffie.
