Obituary

Billie Jean Wright was born on December 6, 1930 in Chickasha, OK to Miva (Lunsford) Todd and later adopted by R.P. and Eliza (Lunsford) Grubb. She passed away on May 10, 2017 in Binger, OK at the age of 86. Billie graduated from Binger High School. She married Leroy Wright on October 18, 1958 in Hillsboro, TX. She worked as a teacher's aid and a bus driver for many years in Lookeba-Sickles school district. Billie worked as activity director at Carnegie Nursing Home, and a caregiver to many in the community for many years. Billie loved painting, drawing, crafts, and horses. She enjoyed square dancing with Leroy, enjoyed the Binger, Hinton, and Oney Riding Clubs, barrel racing, and was former Rodeo Queen of the Binger Rodeo. Billie later came to know her biological mother and had a special relationship with her. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and attended Oney Baptist Church.

Survivors Include: her children, Terry Winchester and wife Cathi of Rose City, TX, Kathy Wright of Lookeba, OK, and Trenna Shotts and husband Don of Binger, OK, 2 step children, Donald Wright and wife Roberta of Oney, OK, and Imogene Spear of Anadarko, OK, 13 grandchildren, Shane Winchester and wife Amber, Lon Winchester, Todd Wright and wife Tassie, Sunny Daniels and husband Earnest, Kaci Faulkner and husband Danny, Brandy Wright and husband Wade, Colt Osburn, Ashton Claborn, Weston Wright, Vicki Little and husband Kevin, Terry Mason Wright and wife Sharon, Dawn Ann Mendenhall and husband David, Patty Ferguson and husband Jim, and Justin Lee and wife Jennifer, 25 great grandchildren, special friends,

Mary Beasley of Binger, OK, Eula Belle Garrison of Hinton, OK and Mary Toho, many nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; R.B. and Eliza (Lunsford) Grubb, Fonso and Miva (Lunsford) Buckner, husbands; Leroy Wright and Richard Foster, siblings; Archie Todd, Melvin Todd, and Estelle Morton.
