Kevin Frank Kodaseet

Kevin Frank Kodaseet was born on October 26, 1959 in San Diego, CA to Charlotte Lumpmouth and Gary Kodaseet. He passed away early in the morning on July 7, 2018 at his home in Geary, OK at the age of 58. In his earlier years, Kevin attended the American Indian Art Institute in Santa Fe, NM. He was an active member of the Native American Church (Arapaho Chapter). He also completed and participated in the Arapaho Sundance in Ethete, Wyoming. Kevin made sure to instill the traditional ways of his culture with his children by taking them to peyote meetings and sweat lodge ceremonies when they were younger. He married Virginia Winona Palmer on October 3, 2006 in Concho, OK. Kevin was an artist, a construction worker, he loved to fish, always helped those in need, and prayed for those requesting prayer. Kevin loved his grandchildren very much, and he will be missed by all those who loved him.

Survivors Include: his wife, Virginia Kodaseet of Geary, OK, his children, Jessica Maria Kodaseet of Anadarko, OK, Phaliesha Kodaseet of Anadarko, OK, Betty Jo Kodaseet of Anadarko, OK, Mara Spiess of Atlanta, GA, Jon Martin of Ft. Walden Beach, FL, Shaddai Flewallen of Upstate NY, Lily Ah-Be-Hadle Kodaseet of the home in Geary, OK, and adopted son Edmond Whitlow of Geary, OK, his parents, Charlotte Lumpmouth of Geary, OK, and Gary Kodaseet of Anadarko, OK, 13 grandchildren, his siblings, Michael Kodaseet of Geary, OK, Teresa Murray of Geary, OK, Francine Williams of El Reno, OK, and Elaine Matanane of Hinton, OK, as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jimmy Lumpmouth and Flora Geary Lumpmouth and paternal grandparents Frank Kodaseet and Lilly Botone Kodaseet.
