Sarah Mae Cardwell was born July 18, 1926 to Andrew and Dora (Marshall) Miller in the Lookeba-Sickles area. She passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 at her home in Clinton, OK at the age of 91. Sarah was raised in the Sickles and Eakly area graduating from Sickles High School. She was united in marriage to Gloyd V. Cardwell. She worked at Cobb Creek Cafe. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and embroidering. Sarah was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Eakly.
She is survived by her two children, Doyce V. Cardwell and his wife Patricia of Fairland, OK and Latricia Davis and her husband Cary of Bakersfield, OK; four grandchildren, Jeff Cardwell and his wife Elibeth of Clinton, Damon Cardwell and wife Esther of Norman, Stuart Davis and his wife Jennifer of Houston, TX, Miriam Atwood and her husband Blake of Dallas, TX; five great-grandchildren, Dezeraye Cardwell, Heather Al Masri, Evelyn Cardwell, Elijah Cardwell, Jordon Cardwell, Hunter Cardwell, and Asher Atwood; one great grandchild, Adam Al Masri; two siblings, Nancy Thornton and her husband Tom of Belton, TX, and Johnnie Miller and his wife Linda of Anadarko, OK; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death her parents, Andy and Dora Miller, husband, Gloyd Cardwell, and ten siblings.
