Obituary

Arlene Stevens was born March 13, 1926 to Milton and Sadie (Schuller) Scholl in Lookeba, OK. She passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Angelwood Assisted Living Center in Clinton, OK at the age of 90. Arlene graduated from Lookeba High School in 1944.

She was united in marriage to Ivan Preacher Stevens at the Pentecostal Holiness Church’s parsonage, on June 24, 1944. To this union was born one son, Tommy Lyn and two daughters, Judith Glennell and Deborah Lynn.

Arlene was an active member of the Lookeba Pentecostal Holiness Church,

Arlene and her family had The Stevens Family Ministry and held many church services at rodeos and other Western events. Most of all she enjoyed her kids and grandchildren's activities.

Arlene is survived by two daughters, Judy Timms of Elk City, OK, Debbie Garrett and her husband, Butch of Lookeba, OK; two grandsons; Buddy House and his wife Nicole of Del City, Oklahoma and Tommy House and his wife Heather, of Lookeba, OK; one granddaughter, Kaci Garrett and Stephanie Hernandez of Lookeba, OK; great grandchildren, Austin House and his wife Kennady of Altus, OK, Baylee and Emilee House, and Josie and Guthrie Garrett all of Lookeba, OK; step grandchildren, Edward Timms and his wife Mary of Oklahoma City, Ann Silvers of Guthrie, and Bonnie Hagemann and her husband Todd of Kearney, MO; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Sadie Scholl, one infant son, Tommy Lyn, husband Preacher Stevens, son-in-law, Burl Timms, and six siblings, Ray, Glenn, and Gene Scholl, Flora Mae Gonella, Nita Halpin, and Dorothy Brown.
