Floyd Earl Driever was born on November 20, 1937 in Hitchcock, OK to Chester Roy and Bertha L. (Bohr) Driever. He passed away on April 27, 2018 in Watonga, OK at the age of 80. He started school in Hitchcock then moved to Watonga. He served in the Air Force for 5 1/2 years as a hydraulics technical instructor. He married Shirley Morrison on February 18, 1965 in Las Vegas, NV. They lived in California before moving to the Watonga area in 1966 and began his farming career. Floyd owned a filling station, ran heavy equipment, and devoted his life to farming and his family. He was a member of Elks Lodge for many years where at one time served a Exalted Ruler. He also was on the board of trustees at Cimarron Electric Cooperative for many years. Floyd along with his wife Shirley overseen the Blaine County Community Christmas Dinner for 26 years.
Survivors Include: his wife Shirley Driever of Watonga, OK, his sons, Thad Driever and wife Lisa of Noble, OK, and Chad Driever and wife Alyssa of Yukon, OK, his grandchildren: Hanna Lomax and husband Corey of Yukon, OK, Tucker Earl Driever of Watonga, OK, Colton Driever and wife Sasha of Weatherford, OK, Makenzie Driever of Noble, OK, Kirstin Driever of Noble, OK, and Kellen Driever of Noble, OK, his sister, Francis Cleveland of Yukon, OK, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Bertha Driever, his son, Chet Driever, and 2 brothers, Clyde and Joe Driever.
