Betty Lou Chenoweth Rigg-Kaspereit

Betty Lou Chenoweth Rigg-Kaspereit was born on December 5, 1923 in Hinton, OK to George Edgar and Cora Pearl (King) Chenoweth. She passed away on February 8, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 94. Betty grew up in Hinton and graduated from Hinton High School. She was married to Joseph G. Rigg on July 1, 1942. She later married Clyde Kaspereit on August 23, 2003. Betty loved to cook, loved sewing and needlework, and made the best pies in the whole world. She enjoyed reading and was very active in her church, Linwood United Methodist Church in OKC,OK. Betty had a wonderful heart and was always more concerned with others than she was about herself, always making sure that everyone was taken care of and okay. She will be very missed by all those who loved her so much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Cora Chenoweth, her husband Joseph G. Rigg, her husband Clyde Kaspereit, and nine siblings.

Survivors Include: her daughter, Debi Bermel of OKC,OK, Debi's children and Betty's grandchildren, Lauran Krause and husband Devon of Norman and their children Audrey and Halle; Matthew Bermel and wife Megan of OKC; her daughter Deanna Nickel and husband Lee of Fayetteville, AR, Deanna's children and Betty's grandchildren; Lisa Spessard and husband Phil of Marietta, GA and their children, Sydney and Caroline; Jay Nickel and wife Pamela of Bentonville, AR and their children Cade and Maggie; and Alison Nickel of Overland Park, KS; her step son, Don Kaspereit and wife Carol of OKC,OK, and their children Cameron and Ashley: her sister, Evelyn Felix of Bixby, OK, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
