Marjorie Louise Brown Botone

Marjorie Louise Brown Botone was born January 18, 1935 in Lawton, OK to Reuben Tounwin Brown and Angeline (Hunt-Segar) Brown. She passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 in OKC,OK at the age of 82. She graduated from Riverside Indian School. Marjorie married Roland Botone in 1953. She lived in the Lookeba-Binger Area most of her life. She was a seamstress for 12 years, and loved cooking for the elders. She was a member of the Caddo Activity Committee, the Caddo Nation Repatriation Committee, and member of the Riverside Alumni Association. Marjorie was baptized Catholic and a member of the Native American Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Montia Wayne Botone, grandson, Nokose "Chebon" Martin, five brothers, Donald "Gene" Brown, Harlan Brown, Marlan Brown, Theodore W. Brown, Haskell Brown and Larry W. Williams, and one sister, Darlene Brown.

Survivors Include: her children, Rose Botone of Binger, OK, Phillip Botone and wife Eugenia of OKC,OK, Mitchell Botone and wife Denna of Wichita, KS, Mary Botone of Anadarko, OK, Stephen Botone and companion Terri of Binger, OK, Carol Botone and companion Scott of Apache, and Louise Smith and husband Justin of Yukon, OK; her grandchildren, Kimberly McLemore and spouse Charlie, Anna Botone, Eliza Botone and spouse Jon Henson, E'cho Martin, Antonio Hinojosa, Lori Hinojosa, Sarah Hinojosa, Larry Botone, Tony Martin, Angeline "Angel" Botone, Sharon Billy, Monica Cisco, Daniel Cisco, Chrystal Tartsah, Isaiah Tartsah, Shayna Sheridan and her husband Brian, Cheyenne Sullivan and Jessica Crowden, Kaylynn Smith, and Justin Smith; 34-great-grandchildren; one sister, Charlene Wright of Binger, one brother, Lyman Kionute of Anadarko; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
