Mary Louise Brown was born on February 2, 1925 in Effingham, KS to George and Pansy Phillips with one step-brother, Allison Phillips of Ft. Worth, TX. She went to meet her Heavenly Father, Thursday, September 28, 2017 in Geary, OK at the age of 92. Louise went to Douglas High School. She met and was united in marriage to Arthur Chester Samuel Brown on October 16, 1942 and made their home in Geary, where they raised their children, Patricia Ann, Sheryl Annett, and Sharon Lanett. Louise was a very devoted mother and housewife. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very early age and united with Beulah Land Church of God in Christ in Geary, OK. She was a very active, devoted, and faithful member where she served as : financier, assistant Sunday Secretary, Trustee, Kitchen, and mother of the Church. Louise worked in the cotton field and cleaned houses, and in her adult years, she worked at Cherokee Restaurant, Wood World, and the Geary Nursing Home where she retired. She lived to enjoy five generations.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Phillips and Pansy Phillips Cowan, 1 granddaughter, Demetria Shantell Carter, and 1 grandson, Demetrius Grant.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Patricia Ann Cooper of OKC, OK, Sheryl Annett Jackson of OKC,OK, and Sharon Lanett Smith (Gregory) of Geary, OK, 1 step-brother, Allison Phillips of Ft. Worth, TX, 8 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren, a host of relatives and friends who dearly loved her.
